It was in 1993 that Paltenghi won The Prestigious Hunting/Observer Art Prizes "Travel Award". The Award enabled him to spend two months Painting in The Northern Territories, The Red Center of The Australian Outback. Starting from Darwin and Kakadu National Park, and onward South. The Mac Donald Range, The Sacred Ochre Ridges, The Red Trail to Alice Springs and Final Destination "Ullaru" Ayers Rock. Paltenghi returned with a substantial Folio of Paintings, Gouache, and Watercolours. This Collection Entitled, "The Inhabited Wilderness" The Works where successfully Exhibited at The Royal College of Art, London. and at The Chelsea Arts Club.
Paltenghi is now planning a Return Painting Tour of The Western Outback, The Great Sandy, The Gibson Deserts, and Northwards to The Kimberley Ranges.
Paltenghi is now seeking Sponsorship for a Two/ Three Month Painting Tour.

Sponsorship will start at £1000. or a mutual Arrangement. The sponsor will be able to select an oil on canvas painting inspired by the trip and an invitation to an exclusive private view in London.
Subscriptions will start at £100. In return the subscriber will get a small work on paper and an invitation to an exclusive private view in London.
Paltenghi is looking to raise £6000 – £10,000.
