Winner of the Prestigious Travel Award, at The Hunting/ Observer Art Prizes[1991] Paltenghi Traveled in The Northern Territories of Australia. From Darwin to Ayers Rock, The Red Center, producing A Series of work on paper, "The Inhabited Wilderness". Now in 2009 Paltenghi is planning a return Tour, The Canning Stock Route, The Western Deserts, The Gibson and The Great Sandy.
